Setting Up Your Company Logo

The Your Settings screen (click on Your Settinngs from the Settings Menu) allows you set your company logo used for print outs.

Changing Your Logo or Signature

Click on the "Logo" button and an Open Image File dialogue will be displayed, allowing you to pick an image file of your company logo. Use a scanner to scan your company logo unless you already have it saved as an image on disk. The image file must be saved as a .JPG .BMP or .PCX file in order to be loaded into the SimplyPats program. Click on the Sign button to add an image of your signature for the PAT testing certificate report.

Scanning Your Company Logo or Signature

If you scan your company logo using a scanner, take care not to scan at a very high resolution. (high number of Dots Per Inch or DPI). You should aim to scan at between 100 and 300 dpi. If you scan at a high resolution your image will be very large and slow to load.

Cropping Your Company Logo or Signature

Make sure your company logo is cropped as close as possible. Avoid leaving a lot of white space around the image as this will cause your logo to print small despite what size you ask it to be printed in SimplyPats.

This image is cropped correctly. This image has too much white space surrounding it.
