Find In Grid

On the Find In Grid screen, shown below you can type in a word to find in the grid you are currently working on, e.g Maintain Abbreviations, Dictionary, PAT Testers, List Sites, List Locations, Default Fails, Extra charges, Test Prices or, Repair Prices screens.

Find First

If you type in COMPUTER in the Find box, and put a tick in the "Match Whole Word" box, then click on "Find First", SimplyPats will find in the grid the first record that it finds the word COMPUTER in.

(Pressing Enter on the Keyboard after you type the text to find will also perform the Find First function)

Find Next

Press "Find Next" to find the next occurence in the grid of the word COMPUTER.

If you type in the letters Co in the Find box and Un-tick the "Match Whole Word" box, SimplyPats will any entry in the grid starting with the letters Co. For Instance Cooker, Coffee Maker, Computer etc

Cancel

Cancel will close this Find In Grid screen, you can also click on the cross in the top right of the window.

(Pressing Escape (ESC) on the keyboard will also close this screen)
