Importing TRIO ProLogger II data files into SimplyPats

The STC Downloader will need to be configured to output the data in SimplyPats format, more help on this is available from the Help documentation supplied with the STC Downloader software.

Version 3.0.0.3 of the STC Downloader software has the output format option on the Settings screen under the heading of Output Settings, simply select SimplyPats from the drop down menu and set the Output File path. If you are using a different version of the STC Downloader this option maybe on a different screen, please refer to the supplied Help documentation if this is the case.

The output file (.csv) can now be opened in SimplyPats and saved out as a SimplyPats data file.

Prior to SimplyPats Version 6.0.5 any ProLogger II data files were imported from the File > Open File screen, the option to import ProLogger II data files has now been added to the PAT Settings screen.

Pressing the Open button will bring up an Open File window, from here you can navigate to the folder where the STC Downloader has saved the SimplyPats Output file and select it. Pressing Open with a file selected will import that file into SimplyPats.

We would recommend that you now save the data out in SimplyPats format by choosing File > Save As. The SimplyPats Data file (.pat) can now be opened up in SimplyPats from the File > Open File window.
