Maintaining your Test and Repair Prices

SimplyPats can generate an invoice at the touch of a button, however first you must make sure you have set up your Test and Repair Prices.

Test and Repair Codes can be entered into your PAT (if Supported) at the end of each test. SimplyPats downloads this information and accociates a Price to each Code, these Prices can be maintained from the Maintain Test Prices and Maintain Repair Prices screens shown below.

Maintain Test Prices

As you can see from the screen shot above, the price for doing one test on a Portable Appliance has been set to £5.00 in this example, using this Price Scheme. If you did 100 Portable Appliance tests and No Repairs, SimplyPats would calculate the Invoice to be £500.00 ex VAT.

Both the Description and Price are editable but the Codes are fixed. You are not able to add your own Codes, however you can create New Price Schemes.

Price Schemes

Price Schemes allow you to set different Pricing Structures, this is handy if you charge different customers different rates. In the screen shot above, we have created a scheme for customers that have between 0-50 Appliances to test. We could also create another scheme for customers having 51-100 Appliances, and so on, making the prices slightly cheaper as the Quantity goes up.

Price Schemes are also a feature present in the Maintain Repair Prices.

Maintain Repair Prices

Repair Codes, like Price Codes are entered into your PAT Tester at the end of each test (if your PAT supports this feature) if a repair has been performed on that appliance.

SimplyPats downloads all the repair codes and totals up the cost accociated with each code, the cost and repair information is then displayed on the Invoice.

There is a print feature on both screens, allowing you to print out lists of you price schemes, handy when you are out testing as a quick reference.
