LM185 Bluetooth Adapator Wiring

Below is a guide connecting the LM185 Bluetooth to Serail adaptor to a Seaward Europa Plus Pat Tester. The connections for connecting to the Metrel range of Pat Testers is exactly the same.

Use your original download cable to connect to the PAT tester.

Connect the wiring adapter (gray double ended device) to the bluetooth adaptor and your download cable. Ensure it is aligned correctly with the arrow pointing to the LM bluetooth adaptor.

Plug the mini USB into the bluetooth adaptor and the RS232 (9 pin) end into the scanner / printer port on your PAT Tester.

You should see a red light on the bluetooth adapetor showing that it has power. A blue blinking light shows that it is searching for your PDA. A constant blue light shows that the device is paired and waiting for the download to start. This appears only after you have pressed the download button in Pocket SimplyPats on your PDA.
