Licencing SimplyPats

To gain full functionality of SimplyPats, the program must first be licenced. NOTE! You cannot download from SimplyPats until the program is licenced. You cannot Licence the demonstration version of SimplyPats and this must be uninstalled prior to installing the full version.

To do this, please read carefully the instructions below and follow the appropriate text if your are a new simplypats user, or an existing customer upgrading to SimplyPats Version 6. If you encounter problems or need help, please ring 01326 378268 or 0845 4300 789 (Local Rate). Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm.

You will need to give the following information:

How To Licence If you are A NEW SimplyPats User

1) Click on the Licnce button for Licencing on the Web (The button for NEW SimplyPats Users)

2) When on the Web site you must enter the Serial Number (This can be found on a label inside the CD Box) into the web page.

3) Next you must enter the Licence Number (shown in the Yellow Box on the Licencing screen) into the SimplyPats web site. (You can use the Copy Licence Number to clip board button to copy the number so you can paste it into the web site page) You may find this is automatically completed for you.

4) Finally you must complete the company name, address and contact information in the fields provided.

5) Once submitted on our web site, you will automatically be emailed a Licence Key. This number you must enter exactly in the Licence Key field in the white box on the Licencing Screen.

6) When you click on the OK button you will receive a message sayng your software is licenced.

Please give us your Company Name and Serial Number when contacting us for technical support. Since January 2008 we are providing FREE support for SimplyPats Version 6if there is a change to this policy you will be notified via the SimplyPats web site and forum.

How To Licence If you have purchased an Upgrade to Version 6

1) Click on the Clp Bd button to copy the long licence number in the yellow box to the clip board. You can then paste this on to the web page where prompted.

2) Click on the Upgrd button for Licencing on the Web (The button if your are UPGRADING to SimplyPats Version 6)

3) When on the Web site you must enter the Serial Number (This can be found on a label inside the CD Box) into the web page. Or will have been sent to you via email from our support team when you purchased the upgrade.

4) Once submitted on our web site, you will automatically be emailed a Licence Key. This number you must enter exactly in the Licence Key field in the white box on the Licencing Screen.

5) When you click on the OK button you will receive a message sayng your software is licenced.

Copy To Clip Board

This button will copy the Licence Number (in the yellow box on the licencing screen) to the clip board so that you can paste it into the web page.

Licnce (For New SimplyPats Users)

This button will open up your internet browser and take you to Simplypats registration page where you can input the serial number found in the cd case (or sent via email). Once submitted you will be sent an email with your licence key on it.

Upgrd (For existing SimplyPats Users Upgrading to Version 6)

This button will open up your internet browser and take you to Simplypats registration page where you can input the Licence Number (the number in the yellow box) and your Serial number found in the cd case (or sent to you via email). Once submitted you will be sent an email with your licence key on it.

Licnce (I would like an Additional licence for this new PC)

This button will automatically write an email to support@simplypats.co.uk containing your Licence Number and requesting an additonal unlock key to run SimplyPats on a new or second PC. The support staff at RSR Systems will check how many licences you have been issued and will return an Licence unlock key.

Ok

Saves your changes, checks the licence codes and licences SimplyPats if successful.

Cancel

Cancels and changes and leaves SimplyPats unlicenced.

Print

Prints a copy of the details you have entered on this screen for your records. This is will be handy if you have to reinstall SimplyPats, you will then be able to re-licence your copy without ringing the support number. See Also Print Preview
